Hi
That seems to work OK now – thanks! Backup has completed and seems to have captured all the right files.
Cheers
RichardOK I’ve uploaded and activated the Development Version plugin, but when I click “View Status” I get the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’ in [WEBSITE ADDRESS REPLACED]/public_html/design/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/include/bootstrap.php on line 1670
Hi Jason
Thanks for your note. I’ll give it a try and let you know how I get on.
I checked back through my backup archives and found that some of them wouldn’t unzip either, though some of them did.
Cheers

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] [Plugin: Contact Form 7] CF 3.2.1 broken on WP 3.4.1To be clear, I’ve copied and pasted the EXACT shortcode, so that isn’t the issue … has anyone else encountered this?

RichardThat’s very helpful thanks!
I have done a manual WP installation before, and set up the mySQL database through cPanel, and so forth so I think I should be OK with this now.

RichardGreat thanks.
And when the time comes to go live, do you normally relocate the WP file structure into the root, or use some kind of redirect in the site root and keep the WP installation in the subdirectory?
Any advantages\disadvantages for either method you’ve encountered?
Thanks again
Richard
