There were no other words similar to “Spark”.

Yes, I used the options to limit to 5 instances on a page and starting at the top.

I did notice that when I use a plural, it is put on the same line in your program listing. For example, if I use “Sparks”, it is put into the same listing as “Spark”. That is OK for me because each word I use is usually different.

There are some brand names which are similar.

For example, the company makes the Phantom 3, Phantom 4, etc.

But the only problem I had was with Spark. I have not added back all the links yet but I will try that today and see if there are any problems.

    Thanks again,
    Craig

I deleted everything and now “Spark” does work.
It didn’t work when I just deleted “Spark” and then entered it again – I had to delete everything.

Can you guess why this would be?

I have added two more words back and it still works, so maybe this will take care of the problem – but it’s always good to know why it might happen in the first place.

    Thanks

    I can try that.
But it’s hard to imagine how one word can change the other. I even tried similar words – like “Xparks” and that didn’t work!

Maybe it is the total count of words and the “X” number word doesn’t work. I will try a few tricks when I have time and get back to you.

thanks for the update. It should be noted that “some time” and “almost forever” – which were two descriptions I received of how long photon keeps images, were less than 48 hours in this case. That is, the old WP site that those images were being cached in from expired on a Sat. and on Sun no images were available.

This was just a weird situation where I purchased the site on Friday and their WP expired Sat – so I was transferring articles (XML) using an “Export” plug in that allows to do one or two at a time. This was working fine…until sunday when neither it nor the standard WP XML import would find, download or import those images.

The time frame is interesting because it’s a regular occurrence for any site to be “down” for a couple days – one wonders how photon (WP) made a decision to nuke these so quickly.

I have plenty of backups of my site(s) including vaultpress, but this concerned only a site I was purchasing which was stored on WP at GoDaddy. Their hosting (but NOT their domain) expired that Sat.

    Thanks again,

    Craig

Please let us know when we can add something to the links to make them sort within a category!
I would think it could be easy just by adding a numeric field to the link insertion screen – in fact, I thought maybe the “rating” drop down would have done this.

In practice I doubt many have to have sort over about 50 within a category.
I will gladly donate if I can get this to suit my purposes.

I tried the twenty twelve stock theme and the same thing happened. It only seems to happen when under category pages.

I’m amazed that this would be happening to just me since I have hardly done any custom work and have very few plugins.

    Oh well….
