From looking at my own database schema, it appears the answer is 250 characters.

Two things surprise me. The first is that this, and similar restrictions, are not in the documentation. The second is that the profile edit form in WordPress does not appear to have any maxlength values on the inputs.

Sorry, I have moved on to a different solution.

From recollection, it was pretty clear from the plugin admin code that it was only looking at the pages hanging off the site root for the specified page name.

It may be important that I am using WordPress MU.

I am using a child theme. I just didn’t know which file to copy ??

My page says it is using the ‘Default Template’ in twentyeleven. Do you know which php file that is? I don’t see a default.php

Did you ever find something that works? I agree that bbpress is very bad but I cannot find any other forum plugin or bridge plugin that isn’t also bad. It’s making me question my decision to start using wordpress!

I want to know this too. WordPress is great buy every single forum plugin I have tried has been a let-down. I just need single sign-on and embedding to work and none of the decent forums seem to have it.

One other thing. When I switch the forum to use the dark colour scheme, all the content text on my site (not just the forum page) turns white. Is the forum CSS loaded on all pages?

Nevermind, I see how it works now ?? Having it’s own page template works for me.
