In reply to: [Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts for WooCommerce] With eWayHi Tom
I thought I’d comment here rather than start a new thread.
I set up the plugin for Paypal and eWay. Paypal worked brilliantly. eWay processed correctly but left me with an order page like this: https://snag.gy/GmBrCq.jpg
Eek! A mash of code instead of a proper order received page.
Can you please advise? We’d love to get it working correctly for eWay.
@lamdayap Yes, at Siteground.
Any update to this? There doesn’t seem much more feedback on the link you offered either.
Sorry … for instance, I see this message: “Note: The beta version should not be used on production sites.”
By production site do you mean the staged site? But how would I get a staged site with the beta version that doesn’t use the beta version ??

Hi Rene
Thank you for your speedy reply. I see it’s now tested with 4.8. Thanks.
Is there a reason why you suggest you using the beta version?
Sorry for the question, I’m just not sure what’s the benefit/con of using either option.
If I use the beta, must I uninstall the live version?

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Correct Settings for an e-Com Store (Woocommerce)?Thank you for your prompt and thorough reply. Really appreciate it.
I’ve had a couple of problems with customers unable to proceed to payment with the system saying the stock is not available (when there is stock available).
I’ve checked everything I can think of to flush out the error. I just wanted to eliminate the caching issue as a reason.
So, from your reply I take it caching is NOT the reason. If that’s correct, no need to reply (and you’re welcome to close this thread). I will carry on the hunt.
If it could be the reason, please advise.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Gzip compression not working?Hi Raam
Thank you for your replies. Yes, I removed the GZIP compression added by the Comet Cache plugin and added one suggested by GTMetrix. And then it worked for me.
Anyway, thanks again!
Hi Cais
Thanks for your reply.
Sorry, I’m slow on the uptake here ??
So, if the parent product’s inventory is left empty (read as zero) and the variations have stock inventory, should the plugin show stock IS available?
Eg Parent Inventory = Stock (empty/zero) – but Manage Stock selected
Variation 1 = 4 in stock – Manage Stock selected
Variation 2 = 3 in stock – Manage stock selectedSort by availability = 7 on the shop front/loop?
I’ve installed the plugin and set the ‘sort by availability” but while the variable products have stock, the parent variable products are displayed below with the out-of-stock items.
I.e even though there are 7 available at a variation level, the parent product is lumped with the single products that have zero stock.
Is there a work around this?
Thank you so much.

In reply to: [WP Store Locator] Page redirects to the store locator map on opening?Sorry. I found the problem. Just needed to disable “On page load move the mouse cursor to the search field?” option. Silly me.
Great plugin. Going to rate it 5* right now…
Great. Thanks for getting back to me.
Thank you! Working now.
