It has, but it is running without the “non-photonic images” checked because of the issue.

I have re-enabled and also deactivated my other lightgallery plugin to show the issue.

This page has a Flickr connection which works just fine (I’m calling images with tags)

This pages has multiple images, but clicking on one only opens up that single image with no option to scroll to the others contained in the page.

Actually, since I fixed it yesterday I upgraded WP to 5.6 and the field stopped showing….

So I’ve now deleted this plug in and I’m using Product Addons For Woocommerce

It handles text fields much better, works and is confirmed compatible with WP5.6

Yes, you were correct. I have disabled the other plugin and it seems to have fixed that.

Problem now is that my images hosted on the webserver don’t open up in the Lightgallery box.

I have seen this option which I have selected;

Photonic Lightbox for non-Photonic Images
Selecting this will let you use Photonic’s lightbox for non-Photonic images. This eliminates the need for a separate lightbox plugin.

I assume that the plugin monitors for image links and send them to the selected Lightbox.

I have, however, found a very odd situation.

If you click the photo directly in the blog post, it opens up in the default, terrible, WordPress lightbox.

For example, on this page

However, if you click the image from the Blog Listing page, it opens up in the Lightgallery lightbox from Photonic

Just to confirm, I don’t use Gutenberg, I still use a classic editor. So I disabled the WooCommerce Blocks plugin and of course, the error has gone.

As I don’t use Gutenberg is it ok to leave this disabled?

Yes, I suspected that maybe the case, it’s strange as no plugs have been updated recently and the issue wasn’t there before it also doesn’t seem to happen on all pages/posts. Weird, I’ll start by disabling the 2nd plug in and take it from there.

Ah got you, I was confused over the thumb size as I was using the wrong parameter, I was using tile_size as with the other layouts.

I don’t use Gutenberg, I really dislike it.

I have tried using the thumb_size parameter and it’s perfect! The reason I use this layout over the justified or masonry is because it justifies to the left which fits in with the rest of the site.

Hi, I’ve looked into this and there doesn’t seem to be a you suggest.

The single image option just posts a small version with pre-defined data and then clicking it opens up the photo within Flickr.

I am trying to achieve a goal of not letting users leave my site. This is why the main gallery is awesome as it keeps users on my site even though they are viewing photos served by Flickr.

Is there any other way that you can suggest to display a single photo in the same what the plugin is designed to serve a gallery?

That filter did the trick!

The theme is now running at the latest release, it fixed a few other issues I saw with product images, however, the purchase note still doesn’t appear on the Thank You page.

I have tried switching my site to use the Storefront theme (as suggested by my theme developer) to rule out my theme causing the issue and the same thing happens, no purchase note. I have tried this with a couple of products (variable and simple – all are virtual) and they all do the same.

Here is a screenshot of the Thank You Confirmation Page, as you will see there is no purchase note under the item.

As you can see, I am wanting to use it as a redirection for customers to enrol which is why it’s a big deal.

Wow, yes you are right and this is my naivety that didn’t realise that the theme is very out of date.

It seems that the theme is not reporting that an update is available so I have reached out to the theme developers for assistance.

Hopefully this will fix the issue. I’ll report back.
