Should I delete the existing plugin first before downloading the new one? I also am a premium user of Mail Poet so I have both plugins installed – thanks in advance
Thanks Tobias. I initially notified my developers that Table Press was missing from the WP dashboard and they got it back in there. How they did it, I do not know. Perhaps they used the method you have described and if so, is that what you’re asking? Go back to them and have them reinstall it? I am the owner of the website and not a developer who would be familiar with these things

In reply to: Creating clickable video placeholderThank you so much for responding. I should have been more clear about needing to generate these from a Vimeo video. I’ll check out your links and let’s see if anyone else replies with other options. If I end up with a good reliable solution I’ll post it here.

In reply to: Available options in editorYes I suspected it might be an issue with the plugin too but wanted to check here first. I’ll have the developers check it out and see if they can fix it. I was hoping it might be something simple that I could do but it sounds like it’s above my paygrade.
Thanks again

In reply to: Available options in editorThanks for your reply.
When I select “Capabilities” I see that feature is already enabled for the user.
When I “switch roles” with him I can go to his post and then edit. When I scroll down neither the excerpt nor feature image option is visible. Could it possibly be something in that edit menu that is not enabled?
Thanks for that. I’m also hearing from subscribers who are saying they’re receiving the newsletter twice (same email twice) in their inbox. Is there a setting in the program that would cause this that I could change?
Thanks in advance

UPDATE: What we found out was that Mail Poet was no longer supporting Mail Poet 2, which worked fine under php 7.2 There is a new Mail Poet 3 that is compatible with php 7.3 so we installed that. It’s an entirely different program so there’s a bit of a learning curve but we think it’s going to work ok for us.
So, the best advice I can give is to ditch Mail Poet 2 and go with Mail Poet 3 unless of course, you choose to stay with php 7.2
Thanks – did the upgrade to Mail Poet 3
Yes, we did have an error message but it wasn’t saved and it’s been quite some time ago since this happened.
I have forwarded your reply on to our maintenance team. Are you saying that the new version of Mail Poet IS compatible with Php 7.3 and this is nothing more than a hosting problem? It would be helpful to us if we knew if the program is actually compatible. I’ve seen many other users having this same problem so it does seem a bit odd that it would be related to our hosting.
Tim
Don’t expect a response for this. Mail Poet continues to evade and ignore requests to fix the issue of their platform not being compatible with PhP 7.3. We are currently testing other options and plan to leave Mail Poet ASAP.
We have this same problem but the folks at Mail Poet are totally unresponsive. We’ll be looking for a replacement for Mail Poet and plan to leave feedback on FB about their lack of support and unwillingness to fix this issue.

In reply to: [SendPress Newsletters] S2Member IntegrationHow long does it actually take for someone to respond to questions here?
Well doesn’t look like I’ll be getting much support here –

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Auto not workingUpdate – after doing a re-install from scratch and creating two newsletters they have both been delivered successfully via auto-send. Now, to see just how long this lasts. Will any changes in scheduling or adding a new group cause the auto-send to go into a tailspin again? I guess only time will tell so I’ll monitor this and post updates if there are any changes
