I’m wanting this as well. I was going to try creating a coupon code that discounted the exact percentage for my state. Is that maybe a short term fix?

How did you fix it? I’m having the exact same problem. It’s been working great since 2016, but after I updated all my plugins recently, I now get that error trying to buy from my site.

If that doesn’t work, I’m seeing people having success with this error in this thread:

Also, I haven’t updated this plugin for the past 2-3 weeks, partly because of this problem. So I don’t know if a new issue has been introduced or if the above thread does the same thing my fix does. It appears to be the same error you and I have had though. Really ANNOYING.

I’ve had this happen too in the free version. It seemed to start when the plugin was updated. Try going into the Invoices settings, get rid of everything in “Attach to Emails”, then Save Changes. Then add them back in and Save Changes. It worked for me after that. I’ve had to do this every time the plugin was updated for several versions. This is definitely a bug. Isn’t it open source? If so, can’t someone fix it?

I’ve had this issue twice now with the free version when the plugin was updated. I don’t know if this will fix it for you, but I was able to make it work again by disabling the plugin, re-enabling it, and then going into the plugin’s setting and making a few changes (specifically removing everything in “Attach To Emails”, saving settings), then changing settings back to what I normally have. If you go to the Orders area in WooCommerce and you try to tell it to generate an invoice and get a weird error, this fix may work for you. But it did seem to correlate to the plugin being updated. Make sure to have one of those test order plugins so you can test it’s working after following my instructions.

I just found something. Someone had a similar problem a month ago and described the following fix:

When I enable those boxes, I get the same successful attempts as when I disabled Total Cache entirely. So there must be something else about my site (plugin, etc) that’s still causing it sometimes, but less often at least.

Yeah, for that big Google hit coming on the 21st of April? Me too.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve been going through disabling plugins and it does seem disabling Total Cache “fixes” it, but that’s not good, because that’s what keeps things fast. Maybe it’s a single option?

Ok, I take that back. While disabling Total Cache seemed to improve things, after about 5 attempts with Total Cache disabled, I got it to happen once. So I don’t know what’s going on.
