In reply to: [Titan Anti-spam & Security] This plugin is no longer “Anti-spam”Same thoughts here. Never seen this kind of behavior from any other plugins I have used in the past and what a way to put distrust in plugin users. This plugin author should be banned from www.ads-software.com for this kind of scam

In reply to: [Titan Anti-spam & Security] Bloated kitchen sinkI said the same thing (but more) in my first review but the collusion with www.ads-software.com review team who let this plugin author do this deleted my review saying it was a support request which it was not. Why would I want support on plugin I have had to delete….
Anyways I (and many others) agree this should have been added as a new plugin instead of bait and switch like this.
Very bad and I’ll never use this plugin author’s plugins ever again.

In reply to: [Titan Anti-spam & Security] Why?Indeed this was very scammy this should have been added to www.ads-software.com as a brand new plugin instead of bait and switch us to this new plugin. It crashed half the sites I updated and in some cases wouldn’t even let me uninstall/deactivate – I had to go into FTP to delete it.
I’ll never use a plugin from this author ever again.

In reply to: [Titan Anti-spam & Security] It was the best, now it is detestablePlugin author should have put this in as a new plugin rather than sneak it in as a bait and switch. What’s worse is www.ads-software.com review team actually allowed this to happen.
George, thanks for checking that out so quick! ??
Just checked it out and that worked perfect!
When I run security scan with maintenance mode plugin on: https://www.screencast.com/t/KosL4rkMjzdR
Then I run without maintenance mode on and it comes back normal and clean.
Thanks ?? Worked like a champ.
@thomasplevy or anyone else want to take a stab at this?
Here is a gist with the configuration details as well as first few lines of wp-config.php showing where I added the code

In reply to: Multiple WordPress, Differect Active Themes, One DatabaseNo idea how to get Magento to work with this but the best way to have multiple WordPress sites in the same WordPress installation is to use WP Multisite: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Create_A_Network
Magento is a different application so unless there is a plugin available I’m not sure there is a good way to connect that to any WordPress installatoin.
WP Multisite uses virtual directories.
If you want to go the geeky route you could certainly have one database for multiple actual WordPress installations. You would just use same database credentials for each installation, and simply use a different database prefix for each one.
It really depends on the level of customization you need but Magento is a bit outside the scope of what this forum here is for, but if there is a plugin that would do that then I think that might help.
Best of luck! ??

In reply to: [WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] can this plugin be avoided? If your entire site is setup to run https then this plugin is not really mandatory but some plugins can cause some insecure content warnings and I have found this plugin really helps with those.
I do have a few sites without this that work fine on https but I use only a few plugins on those.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [WP Booking Calendar] Booking Calendar is messed up after upgrade to 5.3.2Hello Jad,
I would try clearing browser cache and if you have a caching plugin for your site you should empty that cache as well.
Looks like some kind of CSS issue though. I don’t know much about this plugin but generally when issues like this happen it tends to be caching or browser issue – sometimes could be other plugins and even a theme causing this to.
What version of PHP are you running?

In reply to: [New User Approve] Password & Approve IssueAny chance we could make this an option for the plugin in a future update? I think that would be much easier for those who are not comfortable modifying the code.
I really love this plugin also, and it even works with S2 Memember according to my tests so far.
Been looking for something like this for a long time, and will be recommending this to quite a few people soon.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Volume controlIf you are using WordPress 3.6 and up, and don’t mind the wider player, you can use the built in WordPress shortcode for audio which does have volume controls available to site visitors.
You can find the documentation about how to use it here:
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Audio_Shortcode
This would be a good workaround until the plugin author has a chance to add volume controls (or not) to the plugin.
Kind Regards,
Kevin
Thanks for the response…
