Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I actually just watched your video presentation about Multisite yesterday on wordpress.tv and that answered a ton of questions.

I’m kind of thinking its not necessary now though, but will be thinking more about it later on if I decide to add more sites to that domain.

I have also installed WP multiple times under one domain and I know they don’t interfere with each other but was not sure how multisite would effect them. I’m sure it won’t, but I need to make sure since this is a live site. Don’t need any unnecessary downtime.

Does anyone know for sure?

It should be noted that I spent several hours researching this over the last 3 days before resorting to posting here in an effort to not post something that was already covered.

I would appreciate any help.

I guess I could just backup everything and try it, but thought I would drop in here and ask.

I’ll remove the password protection on it so you can see the site.

In the wp-config.php debug mode is set to false.

Using WordPress 3.5.2
BuddyPress 1.8
Hierachy 1.3.9

I’ll go ahead and activate only the buddypress and the hierachy plugins.

As far as the installation: The site is a month old, and this error is after first installing the plugin and trying to setup groups.

Let me know if the video plays. In the video I go through some troubleshooting (one of things I did I accidentally deactivated buddypress but figured it out later), but still doesn’t work.

As you can see with the video I’m using BuddyPress 1.8 and only your plugin (near the end after I disabled everything else).

Groups are activated with BuddyPress

I’m using buddyboss theme (and actually doesn’t matter which theme because I tried the default theme for buddypress and its doing the same thing).

Hey I’m still having problems with this. Is there any support for this at all?

Getting this error when creating a group on step 2 which is where this plugin is supposed to work.

Its still there as I just installed this not to long ago (within the last week). Sometimes the www.ads-software.com site may be down for maintenance of some sorts, and that is usually when I find it saying that. Its happened to me while trying to install other plugins.

Are you still having this issue? If so, my best advice would be to download the plugin zip file, and then install it manually through the dashboard and the “add new” under the plugin installation screen.

Hi, can you give us an example? A link to a page where this is happening would be great. If you are using the link code <a href=""></a> you should use the link url given to you by pretty link. All that does is redirect to the affiliate link anyways, but it should not show the affiliate link if your hovering over it (at least thats not been my experience).
