    dwzemens … i do not know of a good quality political WordPress theme, but i have come across a site that seems really good, and best of all, from the live example sites, they are developed around WordPress.

    here is the site:

    dwzemens, you can do that too, and i do that with people i know who use WP, but this was a quick fix for most people in a bind and would like something different than the WordPress logo.

    Class … I looked into the CSS .. and actually I found it was the DIV code … a little messed up and just changed it up a bit from this:

    </div> <!– closing frame div –>

    <div id=”frame2″><?php get_footer(); ?></div>

    to this:

    <div id=”frame2″><?php get_footer(); ?></div>

    </div> <!– closing frame div –>

    so that worked for the FOOTER issue .. but now it appears the background image is not repeating .. it is now set like this ..

    #topbanner2 {

    background: url(‘images/header2.jpg’) no-repeat;

    width: 790px;

    height: 261px;

    anything i need to change to get the bg to REPEAT …

    thanks all !!

    thelbss .. what exactly are you looking for?

    please explain a little more in detail.

    glad you discovered it …

    have you thought of making use of the role manager plugin?

    last i checked with my clients that i hvve installed WPCal for, the role manager controls who can and cannot add entries to the calendar.

    are you referring to this?

    AshleyxCore,

    That is the exact website reference, I just was not able to locate it or find it on my browser history, but that is it. Thanks for posting that here. I really think this feature takes the cake when it come to posting schedules or events and dates, and time and stuff.

    I originally looked at Mambo (Joomla) back several years ago, but I have to really and honestly say, WordPress take the “enchilada”. I am always amazed at what is next.

    beth, do you have any idea what you called it? is it hosted on a free site wuch as WordPress.com?

    if you give us more information about your blog, as last you remember it, we will be better able to assist you.

    Bylto – yeah, from my experience, what you have said will work for you. i have actually done this same procedure in my desire to alter som page features and make some display only specific information.

    But YES, you will need to go into “Manage pages” and select the desired template – that is why I referenced the action to change the template name so you know what template you are selecting from the “Page Templates” – otherwise, you will jsut confused cause you will not know what template is which.

    if you are familiar with creating page templates, you can simply create a separate page for your contact and about page that does not have the adense on them at all.

    to simply execute this plan, and if you have FTP acess, access your wp-content/themes folder and – depending on your current theme – look for your default page template that you have added your adsense code to. copy this file twice and rename the files to contact.php and about.php (respectively).

    edit the lines at top of page template (look for “Template Name:” and give it something more descriptive so when you access your admin page, and change out the template, it will display what you have named them – causes less confusion. in both new “contact” and “about” pages remove the adsense code.

    i hope i have given you enough info to work with, and i apologize if i left something out. there might an easier way to this, but this is something that i would do if i was going about this.
