Hi guys, thanks for the responses. Stvwlf, how do I do that? Inside of phpMyAdmin somewhere? How can I do more than deleting the entire directory from the server? Why would the database be creating the /wordpress folder?

Yes. Initially, I had the whole site on a subdomain called wordpress.

So the site’s location was something like

https://www.mysite.com/wordpress

So the wp-content folder was

https://www.mysite.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/

now I’ve changed everything, I’ve even deleted the entire /wordpress directory but some weird things keep happening. First is the problem which I described above (not being able to write to the https://www.mysite/wp-content/uploads folder) and second is that for some reason the /wordpress folder keeps getting created on the server. Even if I delete it, it just comes back. I don’t know why this is happening ?? Is there something I need to change using phpMyAdmin?

Hmm it seems mootools doesn’t have the ability to do this…that kind of sux. I love mootools and wouldn’t think of using another framework, but Slickr uses prototype so it clashes.

I’m using a custom header for one page so that the js files for the plug in don’t get inserted there, but for all the other pages, I’ll just have to do the form the old school way…a form without ajax…sigh, so uncool.
