In reply to: [Blog Way] Featured Video Not DisplayingThanks, but I was hoping I could have the video’s appear in the blog roll next to the scroll of the latest posts. Without a functioning featured video’s plugin or code, the blog roll will only show texts for excerpt views of the latest posts.

In reply to: [Featured Video Plus] Plugin Abandoned?I am going to follow this thread as I am having the same problem, and am hoping for a featured video solution that still works.
I recently switched to Blog Way’s WordPress theme from “Ajaira” by Rakib (version: 1.0.7) and noticed that all of our previously “featured videos” using “Featured Video Plus” plugin by by Alexander H?reth (version 2.3.3) are no longer being featured. Additionally, there is no reference on our published posts or on the blog roll of any videos that were selected to be “featured”.
For one of the many post’s we need help with, we chose to temporarily and manually re-embed the video into the single post in order for it to displayed when viewed in “single post”. But… of course this solution isn’t ideal, nor is it efficient to have to go back to every single post to edit. Plus, it still doesn’t solve that the videos aren’t being displayed as a featured video’s on our blog role.
Sincerely,

I have the exact issue as user @vancleave8888. I tried the “Send Test Email” and that worked, but still no email notification are sent to my subscribers. I checked the “Reports” tab, and it shows that the “Status” is “Sent”, but no one received the notifications. There’s a “Sent date”, but no “View Status” and “Viewed Dates” are all marked as “0000-00-00 00:00:00”. (Additionally, my subscribers checked their spam box/folder and there’s no notification there either).

In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] Comments suggestionsIn regards to an earlier post quote:
Mark E Tisdale: “Having played with it a few minutes, some of the features could use some finesse. For instance the Facebook comments option disables regular comments. Some of us would rather give non-facebookers the chance to comment as well. I can do the code to put both on there, but it would be nice if there was a tick option to choose whether or not Facebook over-rides regular commenting system. ”
To: Mark E Tisdale (or anyone capable), can you pass along the code to enable both type of commenting on one’s blog? I would have to second Mark’s recommendation & rational. Being a novice myself, I don’t have the same ability to code for both comments to work simultaneously.

I tried that before posting my question in this forum and that didn’t work. Any other suggestions?

In reply to: How to change "by" to "submitted by" in postsI deducted the same thing until I couldn’t understand why my changes weren’t working (besides the fact that I probably don’t know what I’m doing here). Any assistance would help.
