I am trying to do something very similar for my client so as to allow them to easily update their portfolio without having to contact me all the time. Did you figure out any solutions?
I have done a lot of research into different video solutions, but none that create a gallery like are plug-ins out there for still images. My clients are video people so they can compress for web themselves, but it would be nice to have a plug-in that just moves the file to a specified folder on the server and links to it within a gallery so the client doesnt have to mess with an ftp site.
