Hi @andifb! Just I can reproduce the bug reported as #2, the next version (1.1.0) comes soon and this bug will be solved.

The change images bug: there are some known bugs that will be solved in the next release:

– errors changing images in multisite configs
– resizing template images without change it (using template original image), changing images all works
– errors changing images in sites where WordPress Address (URL) is different to Site Address (URL) (see WP settings page)

This bugs will be solved in the next release. Are you in one of these tree cases?

We are testing it in Mac and can’t reproduce the bugs… please, try it again in Firefox, and go to Tools>Web developer>Error console, clean it and then go to the editor and reproduce the bugs… appears some error messages? Can submit it at: [email protected]

For now Knews has not developed user privileges /roles, by default all logged users have full access to Knews. You can try some plugins that allows you to block admin pages to determinated users by role…

Ok, the first bug reported (CRON) was fixed in 1.0.5 release.

The internal SMTP connection in godaddy shared hosts is possible with the values:

smtp server: relay-hosting.secureserver.net
blank username and password

Ok, we found the error. In the next version it will be fixed.

This type of plugins catch the wp_mail() function, expects text emails and adds some html to make a beatiful emails…

Jeve, the mail you send me has very weird code (much dirty style inline), seems from Microsoft Word, can you reproduce the bug by pasting text from the Microsoft Word?

We are working in a clean way to paste the text.

– If you don’t change the image, it looks fine in the sent e-mail?

We never worked with Godaddy. After googling, it seems godaddy can works with internal smtp:

…but SMTPAuth must be false. Now Knews put SMTPAuth to true when you insert an user and password, I sent you a patch with SMTPAuth=false always.

Can you test the link values in your knews with standard files and with patched file?

Ok! The bug with WP-CRON will be fixed in the next release: 1.0.5.

WP better Email and others catch the wp_mail() function and modify the normal text output.

You must set Knews to work with SMTP submit, in the admin panel Knews>Config. Knews will submit directly using his own PHPMailer class, and the Knews submitted emails don’t be parsed by WP better Email.
