Yes I specificly got hosting with hostgator who have support for wildcard subdomains so that is not the problem. Could it be the theme I am using which is called Talia.

I have created 6 site so far and they are all accessible and look great

I have managed to get back in but when I activate the Plugin I am using to create the sub blogs I get the same error so I have had to disable it untill I can get more help to work it out. Following is a description and name of the plugin its called Massive Passive Plug-in

I am trying to use wild card sub-domains with a program called massive passive profits. So far my 1st blog is great its just trying to create the sub-blogs thats doing my head in a bit. Also when I reactivate the plugins wont it do The same thing and lock me out of blog? At least now I know theres a back door cheers

So if I FTP to site rename the /plugins folder, what do I name it?

1) So you mean the wordpress plugins folder that is my blog and I just rename that folder while it is online using FTP what do I name it? And how do I rename back in wordpress. I can remember activating one of the plugins called
Akismet.
