Sorry, I couldn’t wait, I re-installed WordPress from scratch, now it’s working. Hope that knowing that it happens helps to solve it.

not solved with me… same progression. deleted and re-installed, but nothing, can’t connect jetpack. happened after an update process went wrong, and I had to re-install it from scratch

Yes, it actually works in that way… but why I shouldn’t let my readers decide the way they wanna sign-in? My point it’s avoid anonymity, but would be nice if they decide how to sign. There’s no actual way?

the ads widget is an embedded functionality of the CalPress theme… but I tried using also the simple text widget, and it doesn’t work as well

it’s the same you can see on the desktop version, for some reason it’s not loaded on the mobile sidebar

Yep, thanks! but I found more efficient just change the name of the sidebar in the jetpack files, the theme we’re using is kind of messy, don’t wanna touch functions too much… Only problems: ads don’t show up on the mobile version [missionlocal.org: now I can see the sidebar on mobile, but it’s different from the desktop, no ads are populating]. I added the required code in the head.php file, but still nothing…

do you think should be possible to set a function to pick not only the featured images, but also other kind of contents not showing on mobile?

Now displaying the featured image on the homepage is a basic setting of jetpack. still not able to see featured images on single posts… there’s not a line of code i could simply past in the page.php or in the content.php file, or whichever it fit, and solve it forever? doesn’t looks like impossible, I’m just scared to break something…
