    Found the solution, the problem was the bulletproof firewall plugin, causing problems in the server after being deactivated and deleted. The whole wordpress installation had to be deleted to fix it.

    I followed your steps and it worked perfectly (just changed it from “true” to “false”.

    I removed a footer i couldn’t edit within the theme itself, then all images was removed from the site, any idea what happened/ what to do?

    This is the error i receive when trying to acces the pictures directly with link:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
