In reply to: [Easy Responsive Tabs] Displaying pages, not posts in tabsI will add I found in in ERT I didn’t have one the display-posts configs (post_type=”page”) I had other places.. if I could do this directly in ERT that still would be my preference.
[display_posts id="789050" post_type="page" include_content="true"]
Yes that fixed it.

In reply to: [Easy Responsive Tabs] Displaying pages, not posts in tabsI use that other plug-in throughout my site with no issues but I will do some further testing. If there is another way to do it directly through Easy Responsive tabs let me know..

In reply to: [Easy Responsive Tabs] Displaying pages, not posts in tabsYeah.. just like in my original post.. except it does not work:
All of the following works up to the use a Public PAGE. If I enter a POST it works.
The 789050 is a PAGE…not a post.

In reply to: [Easy Responsive Tabs] Displaying pages, not posts in tabsPlease provide an example of it actually working or some specific plug-in (not the java) DOCUMENTATION vs. your generic demo that doesn’t show the code. I’ve looked at your demo multiple times and do not find it useful.
All your demo site shows is the same generic info and not address my specific question:
>Tab number 1</a></li><li class=""><a href="#ert_pane1-1" data-toggle="tab" >Tab number 2</a></li><li class=""><a href="#ert_pane1-2" data-toggle="tab" >Tab number 3</a></li><li class=""><a href="#ert_pane1-3" data-toggle="tab"

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Editing difficult@nicola.peluchetti I am a paid user, and it shouldn’t require multiple posts and weeks of inoperability to get a response, especially as a paid user.
I have disabled all caching utilities and verified I do not have memcache activated, as well the problem doesn’t exist if I switch to the 2015 or 2014 theme; which I can’t do for my site and this was one of my latest posts but received no response.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Editing difficult@nicola.peluchetti I have the same issue and have posted multiple posts to the forums and received ZERO response from time.ly or its moderators.
The support forums are frustrating because they exist but most of the time you do not really even get the support you need.
@paul Taylor, try switching themes temporarily and see if it works again. The calendar is famous for theme conflicts but they don’t tell you why or how to resolve them other than use a different theme if the couple of work around steps do not work.. which is not supportive or helpful.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Embarrassingly bad "premium" pluginI have been experiencing the exact same issues as @nbertino with bugs, issues, and lack of support and responsiveness.
Though when Time.ly works it is pretty.. my patience for it is gone.
I am also definitely on the lookout to find a replacement as quickly as possibly and hopefully get it up and running before Time.ly again renews here in about a month.. as my calendar has been broken for months already…luckily I don’t have any events this time of year.+1 for @nbertino’s review.
I have also had the same issue and reported it on a previous version.. now my site is barely functional and had a support case for weeks with the last response being over a week ago.

In reply to: Non-Profit Club Dues Membership Plug-inIn general, yes I still think PMPro is the best option for our needs for a self-hosted member database. It has some issues that I have mostly worked through through the creation of a custom plug-in and the paid support community is ‘relatively’ responsive to good questions.
My primary issues with it that I have not worked completely through.
1) It is the heaviest load component of my WordPress website, even when they are not in the membership section you see it affect load times. It is digestable, but with SSL and use of low cost shared hosting sometimes the site has slow load times.
2) Entering into the second year of use for it I have seen membership renewal issues where there is a high abandonment rate for understanding how to login and renew their membership. It could simply be a bit more straight forward. The biggest challenge is most people not remembering their credentials or following through with the password reset process and duplicates are not allowed.. we also manually input some members and so this creates additional issues. I’ve considered purging the member base, but this defeats the purpose.
3) Customer login and profile information. I would like the member to be able to login and see more information about themselves and not feel like they are in a WordPress blog. I would like some sort of near one-click renew or donate in addition to standard membership renewal as well as be able to have some personalization like “Member Since”, year to date and previous year donation totals, an electronic membership card they can print out, as well as ‘member benefits’ section / panel; we could display benefits exclusive to members to show increased value of membership.Christopher
