Once again you are correct. For anyone else seeing this, or not seeing this as it was, there is a Firefox add-on called Facebook Container that was killing the viewing of the Facebook feed on my websites. Disabling that Add-on made it visible again. Thanks again.

The last suggestion that you gave me was exactly correct. As soon as I disabled the restriction, it worked. Now I have a different problem.

All five sites just suddenly stopped displaying the Facebook feed via your widget. In the configuration section of the widget I see a message that says:

“Your PHP configuration does not allow to read this file. To unable language option, enable allow_url_fopen in your server configuration.”

The PHP configuration has now been updated to enable allow_url_fopen for the domain and all sub-domains yet I still get the same message.

I am running WordPress 5.5.1 and all plug-ins are up to date. Can you shed any light on this issue? As a side note, I tried several other Facebook plug-ins and get the same results.

All I get is a brief LOADING icon and then all that shows up is the Title from the widget. I get this with all five sites. The one I am testing with is https://spencer.kysheriff.org. and the facebook page that I’m trying to link is https://www.facebook.com/spencercountysheriffky/. This has been working for five months and they all suddenly quit.
