In reply to: [WP Clean Up] Indicated a spammed comment on a site with no commentsOkay, it was there.
I notice you change all of the support posts to resolved without waiting to see if they are resolved or not. That does not seem like a proper practice. I think you should wait to see if your response solves the problem first.

In reply to: [WP Clean Up] What is Orphan?I was also interested in what a Dashboard Transient Feed is and was a bit disappointed when acalbert dismissed the question by telling you not to think too much and marking it as resolved without answering the question.
The closest thing I could find to a real answer can be found here:

In reply to: [Titan Anti-spam & Security] about CPU usageI ran a P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler) scan, and Anti Virus did not show up in the list of plugins taking up the most load time (it was in the “Other” list). Out of 1.524 seconds of plugin load time (I run 18 plugins on the site I tested) Anti Span used 0.0095 seconds.
It is very difficult to measure an individual plugin’s cpu usage, but load time is a good indicator, and as you can see, Anti Spam does not take much time to load.

In reply to: [Spam Free WordPress] I have started to get spam and cannot get support hereWhat I most sincerely meant was that I appreciate you developing and maintaining this plugin for the WordPress community.
But I do feel that one of the reasons WordPress is so popular is because of the streamlined ease of use it has created in finding, using, and getting support for the vast array of plugins that are available right here on the www.ads-software.com website.
By the way, I was also using continuing to use your plugin on:
https://www.areasoflife.com
https://www.christianyogaunion.com
https://www.christianspiritbuddhamind.com
https://www.cscottbeardsley.com
https://betransformedbytherenewingofyourmind.com
https://www.livehealthfullynow.org
https://www.taoofchrist.comUntil today.
I thought that I would give the Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin that I mentioned on the support page a few days on the https://www.tubularfitness.com (that started to get spammed) to see if it was what I wanted to use on the other sites before transitioning them all over. To be honest, it did not work out very well, and I am now trying the Anti Spam Plugin.
I just activated the latest version of the AntiVirus plugin (1.3.4) and ran a Wordfence (3.6.8) scan, and there was no warning about the AntiVirus plugin.

In reply to: [Spam Free WordPress] A simple User can not comment on my PostsWhy is this marked resolved?
You know, it was quite awhile ago that I experienced this problem, and I have found other solutions. Thank you for (finally ?? responding. If no one else has experienced this problem, let’s just consider it resolved and move on.

In reply to: [WP SiteManager] [Plugin: WP SiteManager] あなたは日本語を読むことができれば、これはあなたのGoogle’s translation reads: “Being able to read Japanese, you might work for you this” hmmmm
Well, if it were to be taken as a support request, it might be for the user interface to be translated into English. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with Japanese mind you; it’s just that with all of the description for the plugin being written in English, it may come as a surprise to some (although the Screenshots give a clue) that almost all of the setup directions are in Japanese.
I would love to see how this plugin really works.

In reply to: [6Scan Security] [Plugin: 6Scan Security] 6 SCAM securityMy statements have nothing to do with weather the reported vulnerabilities are correct or incorrect. It has to do with the fact that you misrepresent this plugin by making these statements in the description:
“These (security vulnerabilities) are then automatically fixed before hackers can exploit them.”
“Our automatic security scanner finds and protects against:…”
“6Scan Security includes an agent that runs on your server to rapidly fix all security vulnerabilities found by the scanner.”
“you are immediately protected.”
“Once 6Scan Security is installed, no further action is required to keep your site protected.”
Which are all misrepresentations that infer that upon the installation of this plugin, you are, at that time, protected; when in fact, you are only redirected to an option to pay for protection or resolutions for problems found.
In another post that expressed the same sentiment, from a year ago, you state, “We mentioned in more than one place that scanning by Patrol is FREE and you can upgrade your account with a small fee of $10 per month to automatic-fix security vulnerabilities found by Patrol; we will add additional description to clarify that.”
And yet today, there is no such statement to be found in the Description, Installation, or FAQ. Where, please tell, have you clarified that?
And on top of that, you change the status of such post, including mine, to resolved, when in fact, they have not been resolved!
This is why, I consider how you represent your plugin a SCAM.
I tried it again just now, and it worked fine. The .sql file was in the backup root folder, and all other folders looked fine.
Thank you, Sed.
Okay, I got it working. I don’t know how I missed that. It is very clearly stated in the installation instructions. Thanks for your response, Eckstein.
