Thank you for your response, AMBA. I am now using Duplicate Posts Remover which does a good job of finding duplicate posts. At this point, even assuming your fix works, I am not comfortable with having posts deleted “automatically.” I want to be able to see what is going to be deleted before the fact. ??

I had the same problem a couple of days ago. It ended up being an entry in the .htaccess file.

The number of posts displayed in the admin panel (Admin > Posts> All Posts) can be changed by clicking on “Screen Options” at the top right of the page and changing the number in the text box marked “Posts,” then clicking “Apply.”

When trying to login I kept being redirected back to the login page. No errors, no change in url.

In troubleshooting I happened onto this post.

I removed the .htaccess file and was able to login. The culprit ended up being a rewrite to .htaccess by CloudFlare, who’s service I just added yesterday.

Great advice PortMac! I was trying it with Better WP Security, but there are known conflicts with it. Wordfence sounds like a much more potent combo.

I’m just bumping this because I had the same thing happen.

The WP readme.html file is not .htaccess protected (In red)

I didn’t know about the conflict with WP Security at that point, so I added some code to protect the file that I found on another site. It didn’t work.

But getting that Better WP Security entry to the bottom of the .htsccess file (where it belongs anyway) is the key. This is a better solution for me than using the Custom Code section of BPS.

After reactivating the BulletProof Modes again, I’m seeing nothing but green.

I found the easiest way to get back into my site when I couldn’t log in was by accessing the .htaccess file via ftp and deleting the Better WP Security entries, or at least those dealing with the redirects; as mentioned at the end of #1 by Handoko above.

I will add that when I first activated the Gantry Theme (Version 4.0.5), nothing but white space displayed on the front end. It was a plugin conflict.

I have both menus running so you can see the difference.

I have only tried it on desktop Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari, and a number of devices with the Opera Mobile Emulator.

The Opera desktop browser gave the best results. It only blanks out toward the end of the small spectrum of sizes; then at the very smallest size, the menu shows back up again in the (apparently) default plain text list view.

It would also be nice if, at some point, you developed the menu to convert to a button, pop-out menu, at smaller sizes, as seems to be coming into fashion for mobile devices.

You know, I hadn’t been thinking about this because I had found a work around; but I went to my test site just now, and you know what… it’s working now. I am not going to try it on my live site because I don’t need this function right now. But consider this resolved!
