Noticed this on my site too within the last couple of days.

I have the same problem too–the comment count won’t reset properly when I delete comments. If I go into the database to manually reset the comment count for that post, and then get another comment posted, the count goes back up to the old incorrect count.

Hi – just thought I’d bump this as it seems there are problems with WP 2.3.2 and this brilliant plugin. When enabled, I can’t seem to be able to use Gregarious (Digg button goes missing) or Podpress (Flash player missing) properly. Does anyone have similar issues?

Had to use php5 by adding:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

to my .htaccess file.

Nope, no .htaccess tweaks helped on this page. Neither did removing the line suggested there either. Hmm.

Aha, just found this post, which got me looking at the footer code. Since I used a modified Kubrick theme, I though I’d just update with the latest default theme footer, add my custom text and plonk it in over the top of the previous footer. Seems okay now. So all I needed to do was update my Kubrick-tweaked theme, basically.

Thanks for the help JC13 – I tried optimising my DB in the past, and just did it again for good measure, but it doesn’t appear to help in this instance.

Checked the error logs and saw this (the only error that reoccurs throughout the log):

[error] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /wp-includes/wp-db.php:133) in /wp-includes/feed-rss2-comments.php on line 2

I also tried dropping the meta widget from the sidebar, but that still makes no difference.

Well, whatever went wrong has now righted itself, with no action from myself.

Strange – you’re having the same problem? Did it just happen today? I’ve been able to edit posts, although they take a while. There are a bunch of strange things happening with my blog, like the background/sidebar stopping loading halfway through sometimes, but that’s another matter…

I don’t understand – it’s just started working, yet I haven’t changed anything!
