The plugin is dead on arrival.

In your first answer you are saying that the player can substitute the videos in a native way but my users upload videos from the front end. When I opened to try the demo I read this: “Apply Html5 Video Player for all previous videos” and this is the only close option to what I was looking for.

But imagine if they upload from the front end the video won’t use your shortcode so the standard WordPress player would be loaded instead. If I leave the community for 1 month for example and don’t manually update from your plugin a thousad videos will visualise with the ugly player.

Sadly this isn’t a solution for me. I would appreciate and instantly buy your plugin if I find out that it subsitutes the standard player without shorcodes or GREP trough the posts database for shortcode insertion.

I’ve been looking for such a player and writing in the forums, but sadly I couldn’t find such player. I also use the classic editor but don’t like shortcodes and because my few users are using the front end to make a publication that’s why I’m looking for this features.

player auto-generate post thumbnail from local/youtube/Vimeo and set the thumbnail as the video thumbnail.

I mean some of my posts consist of just a video and no text or image, so I’m looking for a way to generate the post thumbnail from somewhere. Otherwise, when the page is shared on social media or VOIP clients it’s not showing the media but instead a stupid adress like https://website.com/video.mp4 and not showing a thumbnail.

Can it autogenerate post thumbnails based on the video locally uploaded or embeded? Thanks! This is a functionality I’m looking for since when someone share a post on a social media or VOIP client there is no image.

I’m sorry for some reason my last reply wasn’t sent. These are the question marks on the right side of each field in the Yoast module. When you are filling a page and where you have to enter keywords. Sometimes I accidentally click on them and the open and the worst is when they transfer me to the Yoa.st website.

Thank you for the snippet. I tried it but is there a way to use it with the elementor price table widget for example? I have a page with 4 buttons and every single one of the, should be opening the page with the form and selecting a value from a drop down field. Is that possible?
