Ok, I understand.

Sounds like a workaround is to just create all the pretty links manually in the plugin then.

Thanks for the quick reply. Removing the section – yes – but then I can’t use the plugin to do so since it’s a manual change.

I am looking forward to the next version of this then. Looking forward to what you come up with. Running over 100.000 sites is huge already!

Thanks for your reply. It’s great to see that you are active with this plugin. And I can see your points. Especially with the first that it might only be a very small improvement.

The second however would be something that I think would be great for this plugin. I understand that people should optimize beforehand and maybe also have other plugins to optimize the size of the uploaded content. The main reason I think a plugin like this would be great is this:

what about future prove image uploads? I am thinking: internet speeds (and display quality) are increasing and right now I might want to send out a max of 1000px by 1000px for the most resolution. But maybe I’d like to change that to 1500 in the future? With this plugin I could do it just in time (and the cache is already there, so it should be rather “simple” to integrate)?

And yea I just removed the Hyper Cache Clear Link from all wp installation I manage.

Well sorry, it is not Hyper Cache, I forgot to add the ‘Clear Link’.

The problem is that hyper cache clear link breaks the admin interface. Don’t know why I forgot to add this. And as far as I know the Hyper Cache Clear Link plugin does not have a support forum?

I seem to have the same problem. Hope there is some fix coming, but we probably need to contact ITS devs?

Thanks, I did not know that. I think it should be not so hard to fix. But it is good that it is rightfully reported already. I just did not know that there was a way to do it.

For me this featur would really be important and I can’t imagine why it is not already there? For me this sounds much more important than a builtin image-editor?

Maybe I’ll try to write a plugin to do that detach thing.

Is there a way that could come in the near future?
I have way to much images to regenerate all of them each time, I would like to have something to select the images I would like to regenerate or maybe something that gets integrated into the WordPress Media Library ‘Bulk Actions’—that would be nice!?
