Hello @iviweb2
I understand. I’ve not bumped into a similar issue with other users so for now, the only workaround is to take a look at the themes that are specialized for WP Job Manager. I’m sorry I don’t have better news.
For now, I’m going to mark as resolved this thread but feel free to open a new thread if you have any other questions.
Have a nice day!
Hi @japerez2021
We currently don’t have a setting that allows you to approve when a new user registers to the site. I have escalated your question with our development team just to double-check if I’m not missing something.
For now, as a workaround, you can create a sign-up form on a page of your site that users can fill out their information for approval. Once you receive and approve the user, you can add them as new users on your end.
I will come back as soon as I have an input from our development team. In the meantime, let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi @iviweb2
It seems like you reached out via tickets, but I’ll answer it here as well for visibility.
WP Job Manager doesn’t always work properly with page builders such as WPBakery, unfortunately. If you want to learn more about known issues, please take a look at the following support document:
https://wpjobmanager.com/document/dealing-troublesome-themes/
You might want to look at some of the specialized themes that people have made for WP Job Manager:

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Job listings – locationHi @mikaelatn
I see that you would like to add a dropdown menu that shows all available locations. That’s not a feature of any of our add-ons, but the following 3rd party plugins may be of interest:
https://tinygiantstudios.co.uk/product/user-locator/?afid=5
https://jobmanagergeolocation.com/
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Filter jobs by user with shortcodeHi @badomn83
Thanks for reaching out to WP Job Manager support.
Currently, WP Job Manager doesn’t have the option to filter jobs by user ID. There is a public GitHub feature request open and our development team is aware of it:
https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/1892
However, we don’t have an estimated time for this enhancement to be released on future WP Job Manager updates. I recommend adding your request on the GitHub issue, so our development team is aware of the amount of customers that are looking forward to this request.
If you have any other questions, please let us know.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] companies logos not shownHi @arsenalemusica
Thanks for your patience.
It’s possible that there might be a conflict with one of your current plugins or your theme.
Try disabling all of your plugins except WP Job Manager. Then try testing again to see if the issue persists. If that resolves your issue, you can find what was causing it by enabling each plugin one by one while continuing to test.
If that doesn’t help, you can also try switching to the Twenty Twenty theme via Appearance > Themes, and test again. If the issue is resolved then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you’ll need to contact the theme author for further assistance.
If you don’t want to do these tests on your live site, many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicator/To troubleshoot the theme, you can use a plugin that only switches the theme for the current user (leaving the as normal for any visitors), linked below:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/theme-switcha/
Let us know how it goes.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] When job expire link changeHi @joewa1980
Thanks for clarifying that you are subscribed to the Github issue.
Regarding the Resolved label on this support thread, it doesn’t mean that the problem is resolved but rather that our development team is aware of this issue. However, like my colleague Jay said, we don’t have a timeline on when we may see resolution on this issue, so we greatly appreciate your patience.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Button Job Application ProblemHi @eufernando
I see that you are following the instructions “Customizing the application process”. Please note, as per our documentation, all code examples on this site are provided for developer reference/guidance only, and we cannot guarantee that they will always work as expected. Our support policy does not include assistance with modifying or debugging code from any code examples, and they may be changed or removed if we find they no longer work due to changes in our plugins.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Error: Rest Cannot CreateHi @tinyman1199
This looks to be an issue that only your hosting provider can help. A 401 response status indicates that the client request has not been completed because it lacks valid authentication credentials for the requested resource.
We don’t have a connection nor have worked directly with IONOS, but I highly recommend reaching out to them, so they can help you solve this issue. Here I found their Contact Support page:

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] New jobs are not loadingCould you please share more information of the steps you are taken when adding a new job? Are you doing this in the backend or in the frontend?
I noticed you say “featured jobs listings” does that mean that the new jobs you are adding must have the “Featured” option enabled?
If I am correct and if you are adding new jobs using the backend of your site (WP Admin), are you making sure to check the box called “Featured Listing”?
Looking forward to your reply!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Disable button “Save” after changing status in ApplicationCould you please let us know what theme are you using?
For example, I am using Jobify and when I edit the status of an application, it lets me edit it again and change it to another status.
Another workaround for your request would be to change the application status on your backend.
1. Go to WP Admin.
2. Job Applications.
3. All Job Applications.
4. Select the application you would like to edit.
5. In the top right corner there’s a small box called “Save Application” with a drop-down menu.
5. Click the drop-down menu and select the status you wish to change it for.
6. Finally, click Save.Once done that, check the changes on your site’s frontend and let us know if that helped.
Best,
Alba
