  • Even I am facing the same prob. After I tried the straight method of importing from blogger (with the same error as above), I tried to import it in a dummy wordpress.com blog.

    While I could import successfully in that dummy wordpress.com blog, export from thr to my site is not happening.
    It gives the following error,,
    WordPress could not create the directory —-wp-content/uploads/2008/01
    Is the site writable ?

    Then I created the said path (the folders) and now I am getting this error..

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/*****/public_html/******/wp-content/uploads/2008/01.

    Any clue ?

    I also face the same problem. When I see the post in IE, I get a place holder and when I see in firefox, I get nothing.
