What worries me is the Yoast block has made permanent changes which have an impact whether or nor Yoast is active or not later on.

Some good leads there which I will follow up,

1. OK, let me ask a general question…. if I add a “note to customer” in an order, does Woo immediately send that note to the customer?

2. Irrespective of how the tracking is added (either manually or by code), would it not be a useful idea to add a dedicated box for the tracking rather than a more general “Note”?

Disabled Yoast and reran Dead Link Checker and the 19 warnings were still reported.

Thanks, but it would help us all if you do not deprecate “Paypal Checkout” until you get “Paypal Payments” fit for purpose. It’s not even a “Beta” release based on the user experience and ratings.

Surely there would be no need to keep coming up with different versions if the first one was done right. The last one Paypal Checkout worked perfectly well so why come now up with Paypal Payments that is plagued with problems?

My concern is that PayPal Payments is a fundamental is a fundamental redesign of PayPal Checkout by Woocommerce which has worked perfectly well for years ands years.

This reworking has added major new complications because of adding the capability demanded by PayPal for the offering short term credit to buyers.

The new version is plagued with multiple problems resulting in lost sales by vendors.
The old system worked just fine so why push this out when it is not ready.

Looks to me like a classic case of Fake it till you make it”

Time to move to Stripe!

Just to progress matters , it might be best if someone can provide a bit of code to enable us to add a single brand name to each and all of our products. This would be better than using a plugin.

From what you say, I guess the product info is created by Yoast and written to the footer.
And the bits about Review, Aggregaterating etc are what’s has been left out by Yoast.
Hence it comes back to the question of how I can supplement what’s there by sample code I mentioned above. Where and how do I implant it in Woocommerce?
