Obviously, this can be done with Member Directories, but the problem comes with the empty callsigns as if they is not a profile it won’t show the callsign.
Hey @champsupertramp
Sorry for the lateness of getting back, I was working on other projects, and this got put on the back burner.
I actually went on the site and updated to retake the screenshots, but it seems the 2.2.2 update has fixed whatever was causing this issue. So thanks for the help buddy.Hey @dzoker23, yes you can.
Go to Ultimate Member > User Roles > ‘User Role’
In the options for the selected user role, scroll down and you’ll be able to see ‘Registration Options’ Use the registration status drop-down, and select ‘Require Admin Review’
Then in your WordPress settings, make sure this user role is the default for when people sign up to the site.Users will be given this role when they register to your site.
Depending on how you set up profiles, other users might be able to still see their profile, and it might show as ‘This user account status is Pending Review’
Personally, I have a special role for users that are waiting for admin approval. Which only admins can see. But this also requires you to approve their account, and then update their user role too.
Hey @champsupertramp
So I’ve had a go with that pre-release, and it seems to fix the issue with the profile width, just have to also make sure that the ‘Profile maximum width’ & ‘profile area maximum width’ have ‘px’ at the end, otherwise, it will have the same issue as before. (Did also try putting the ‘px’ in the 2.2 but didn’t work)
However, the same issue is still occurring with the profile columns.
When the update went on, the profile was shown as below.
https://i.prntscr.com/lrftJQJYTdu2BQ7CMQzMLg.pngBut once anything is changed in the profile form…
It goes from this:
https://i.prntscr.com/ZAwi51cjS4yvhCqom6Ycfw.png
to this:
https://i.prntscr.com/drHRVQC1R2qw8iwqQWORkg.pngHowever, the profile looks like this:
https://i.prntscr.com/-ewB60WfS-mcFzIFjNjjgA.pngNo matter what I do inside the form editor, from redoing the whole thing to just trying to put things back where they were, it has no effect on the front end profile, and once you update in the form editor, it goes back to showing a single column, even though it’s not.
The above is also happens in the pre-release you supplied.
Many thanks
I’m unsure, the site is semi-live currently, so I’m unable to test. currently using the theme linked below. This theme does work fine with the 2.1 version, however.
https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/themes/colibri-wp/I’ve looked for a while on how to do something similar but have not found anything yet. Commenting to follow this post.
