Nope not abandoned, nothing to update. It’s only about 10 lines of code to do the work and 100 lines of boilerplate to get a plugin going and keep it safe.

At some point I’ll get back to updating the version number. I use it daily on my site which runs current WordPress.

7 months still waiting on a 1 line fix

It’s now been 6 months without a fix. Is this coming at all?

Any word on a fix for this it’s been 4 months?

Thanks for the update. This hasn’t been released yet though unless I want to manually apply the patch. Is there an ETA on the release of 2.2.3 to the repositories?

That would involve changing your theme Archive pages to show both posts and pages and is outside the scope of support provided. It would depend on the theme you use, and you probably should create a child theme so that you don’t have your work overwritten by the parent theme updating.

@luehrsen Updated and yes it does fix my issue.

@brettshumaker thanks. I grabbed the copy from SVN and am rolling it out to my sites/customers now as it’s deploy day. I can move back to the official version in a few days once it’s back live for everyone.

It does look like there is a fix waiting for review on the plugin that adds a bunch of escaping and is tagged as 2.2.4. There may be a decent wait though as I know plugin review is far behind.

@mikeshand do you have a link to the reported issue. I’m up for helping fix it since I need the plugin currently on a large base of sites. I just can’t find the reported issue.

Just closing this as solved.

@jobergstromtds the data is in the database. The UI to view the tags/categories will disappear but the connections will still be there.

@wpmudevsupport14 We’re using the older 1.x version as we don’t want to upgrade to 2.0. We did not manually run a scan, it just runs when it does on the servers.

You didn’t say what steps you’d taken so I can only guess what you’ve done.

I’m not going to download other themes to verify they work. This works with default WordPress and the default themes with lots of content on the site in Gutenberg.

If you need more support than that you’ll need to get a developer involved to diagnose your issue.

This works just fine on the default WordPress theme. The issue is with one of your themes/plugins.

Test with the default WordPress theme to see if it’s your theme.

Turn off all other plugins, then turn them back on one by one to see which plugin creates the conflict.
