In reply to: [Customer Reviews for WooCommerce] Cannot Edit Replies for Q&A and ReviewsThanks for getting back to us!
1. It is neither a bug or oversight. There was never an option to “quick edit” questions and answers. You might notice that there is also no “quick edit” option on the reviews page in our plugin’s menu. We will work on adding this feature in the next versions of the plugin.
2. If you would like to use a different name / email when responding to questions, it is recommended to create a new WordPress user for this purpose. This way, you won’t need to manually enter the same details (name / email) for each response and risk making a typo.
Thanks for trying our plugin!
1. It is a known bug in WooCommerce plugin that has been reported multiple times to the WooCommerce team: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/34344
Unfortunately, we cannot resolve it from our side because the code requiring correction is in WooCommerce plugin. Please reach out to the WooCommerce support team quoting the link above. Hopefully, it will help to increase priority of problem, and they will implement a fix.
2. Only questions from users with admin permissions will be automatically approved. Questions from other users will not be published automatically to prevent SPAM.

Thanks for providing additional information!
The problem is that you modified the variables. They should be lowercase but you added some uppercase characters. For example, it should be
{customer_name}
instead of{customer_Name}
.Please copy and paste variable names exactly like they are shown in the legend below the email body editor.
Thanks for getting back to us!
Could you please provide more details about the issue with the shortcode display? Do you mean ‘shortcodes’ or ’email variables’? It is possible to use variables in emails but it is not possible to use shortcodes in emails.
Also, could you please share a screenshot of this issue? The screenshot that you shared above didn’t not show any issue with shortcodes.

In reply to: [Customer Reviews for WooCommerce] Size attribute – Google ShoppingThanks for using our plugin! The ‘size’ attribute should be available in the version 5.9.0 of the plugin. Please install the update and let us know in case of any issues.
Thanks for your patience! This issue should be fixed in the version 5.9.0. Please install the update and let us know if the problem is resolved for you.
No, I did not say that you need to locate all the previous review links and resubmit them. I just confirmed that the fix resolved the problem for both old review forms (created before the plugin update) and also new review forms (created after the plugin update).
The plugin will not mass update any reviews that have already been saved into the database because it is too risky. Since the plugin is used by so many stores, it is very difficult to foresee all the potential side effects of mass updating reviews. People could have already updated reviews manually or removed them. A mass update will unexpectedly change or recreate them.
Please adjust names of reviewers manually as required on the ‘Reviews’ page in WordPress backend. There is an ‘Edit’ button on each review that will allow you to modify or remove names as needed. Sorry for not being able to be more helpful here.
@hamster2116 thanks for providing additional information. I re-submitted the aggregated review form with a display name = first name and see that it was updated on the product page correctly (the display name used to be first name + an initial of the last name before I re-submitted the form).
It suggests that the bug is resolved for old review forms created before the version 5.8.0 as well. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
@chopperstwisted I did a similar test as described above with the old review form that you shared and see that it also updated the display name of a customer on a product page correctly. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks for providing the screenshots!
We were able to reproduce this problem on our test site and it should be fixed in the next update of the plugin.
@hamster2116 I assume that you should have a link to an old aggregated review form with a problem. How else you could confirm that the issue with old reviews is not resolved?
@chopperstwisted that for sharing links but these aren’t links to an aggregated review form. Please refer to this solution article from our support portal for information about aggregated review forms: What is an Aggregated Review Form?
Thanks for trying our plugin!
As far as I can see, this is your first support topic that you started on this forum.
1. Can you please provide a screenshot to illustrate the email shortcode issue/
2. Can you please provide a screenshot to illustrate the “From” email issue?
Thanks for providing additional information!
I still need your response to the point 1 from this list below. Can you please provide it as well?
1. A link to an aggregated review form with a problem / ?
2. A link to a product page where a review from the aggregated review form should be posted / OK
3. What is the version number of the plugin that is installed on your website / OK
