You have to actually host the file on your server for Leverage Browser Caching to work, if it is off of the server it will not cache ??

We fixed this problem in the Pro Version and apparently did not translate that over to the free version, stand by for an update, it’s high on our list to fix this, thank you so much for pointing it out.

Who are you hosted with? They may be able to extend the time for you – most good hosts normally do for scripts like this.
