In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] support “Phoenix Media Rename”>> It looks like your request is to add the “Filename” column to the Media/Assistant submenu table; is that right?
Yes! But take it as a suggestion, not a request ??
Thank you very much for listening

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Automatic Updates blocked by a plugin>You can select […]
Yes yes, the specific cases are clear to me.>Default is only updates for minor versions of WordPress. Those are the only items that WordPress automatically updates.
Geez! Thank you for the clarification! I should have known it, but I knew it wrong.
May I suggest to enhance the good description
“You have selected default. WordPress will behave as if this plugin is not installed for automatic updates.”
to something like
“Automatic updates will happen as if this plugin is not installed: minor versions of WordPress only.”Thank you very much.

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Automatic Updates blocked by a pluginAngry and sad and dumb and relieved.
I think I have just misconfigured EasyUpdatesManager:
I used to leave Automatic updates on “default”, but with “everything” they work just fine. Now I have to rant a little bit:
how could I expect that the “default” of “Automatic something” is “manual”?
I though “default” was everything excpet major releases. What am I getting wrong?

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Automatic Updates blocked by a pluginOk. I went the brute force way: I fetched an outdated copy of a plugin I have installed and downgraded it.
Now I can get a ‘pre_auto_update’ line in my log.I’m starting the binary search…

When I needed to remove all thumbnails (just once) I used FileLocator and used a regexp to skim the thmbnails from the originals.
Something *like* \d{1,4}x\d{1,4}\.jpg
It worked well enough for just a one-timer.
This has the plus against using this plugin: it removes all images that /look like/ thumbnails even if they’re not actually registered in wp (eg after a theme switch).Forum: Plugins
