Thank you! I know the database has not been hacked. I believe someone hacked into my account for my domain registrar, and transferred my domain to another account. Here is my email to them.

I have been using dot.tk for a long time.

This morning, I got a bunch of emails from Pingdom saying my site (https://pgrytdal.tk/) was down. When I went to investigate, I saw that my domain was down. When I went to another domain of mine, (https://prgl.tk/) which is on the same host account as https://pgrytdal.tk/ , it worked perfectly.

I went to https://pgrytdal.tk/ to investigate, it redirected my to a site with a bunch of advertisements (its usually https://searchremagnified.com/ but it changes a lot.) I went to my domain pannel, and it was no longer registered to me. So, I went to go register it, and it was already taken by someone else.

I never got an email saying that I needed to re-new https://pgrytdal.tk/ so I wanna know how the heck this happened? And if I can get it back?

I will look at those links you gave me, and see what I can do.

Have you tried the Carousel feature in Jetpack?

I don’t know if that is what you want… but I know I’ll be using it on my Boy Scout Troop’s website after I get permission to move it to paid hosting!

I’m sorry… but I do not know exactly what you mean. If you are looking for a specific word or sentence on your page, all you have to do it push Ctrl > F and your browser should just give you a “Search” option.

If you want to search your entire site, then add a “Search” box to your sidebar VIA the Widgets page.

No problem! And, usually, it only takes a couple minutes. But, it really depends on your hosting provider, and domain registrar.

Not that I am aware of. How long has it been since you created the sub-domain? Sometimes it takes up to 24 hours for the DNS settings to go through.

Could I get the link to the sub-domain… and the link to the sub-folder?

You may want to do kaformedia’s idea with a child theme, so that the page-home.php file doesn’t get deleted in the next update

Sorry that you havent had an answer until now… IDK if you have had this question answered by now. But, here is my siggestion!

Just install the “Dynamic Widgets” plugin!

It uses the sidebar area’s you already have, and you can change what sidebar widgets (or, in your case, the sidebar in general) show on what page.

I also have been having the same problem.

I heard the bbPress plugin was simple to use. It is easy to use WHEN YOUR THEME SUPPORTS IT. If not, you have to add theme compatibility. Which would be all nifty-keen, except the bbPress forum about this topic is not detailed enough for us newbies.

Note: I have wordpress 3.4 for anyone wondering/needing this info

Thank you for the reply… I had tried the instuctions on https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/bbpress-20-theme-compatibility before with no success.

What I wound up doing, is copying the theme files for BBP and changing the theme name, then uploading it as its own theme to my /themes/ folder. I will now (hopefully) set up the Front End PM function.

I will ask if I need any more assistance =)
