I don’t know a way how to do so, unless it’s not a feature of your WordPress theme.
The second feature must also be handled by a WordPress theme, not by the plugin.Ok, I added a special Keep downloaded images option into “General Settings” as requested.
Hope if will solve the problem with accidental triggering of the before_delete_post hook by some 3rd-party scripts.
If it worked for you, please don’t hesitate to rate the plugin ??
Perhaps they are using the same plugin/theme, which causes a problem at your website. Anyways, it’s not a code-related problem. The CyberSEO plugin really deletes the images, every time when before_delete_post hook is triggered.
It fires every time when wp_delete_post() is called. In a normal situation this shouldn’t happen if you really don’t delete a post. However I don’t know what other plugins do and why. I can’t guaranty that they don’t trigger this hook for their own needs.
The only thing I may do is to add a special setting for CyberSEO to prevent image removal on page deletion. But if the function will be enabled, all the downloaded images and post thumbnails will remain at your server when you delete a post, generated by CyberSEO…
Just checked your feed with the same settings at my own site and haven’t noticed any problems. All the images there even after edition. Please look at this screenshot: https://c.radikal.ru/c43/2103/7f/f24cc326ff04.jpg (note the “edited here” message, added by me).
Also there are no complaints about “auto-deleting images” from other CyberSEO Lite users. This means that it’s not a bug in the plugin, but something else on your side. Maybe a conflict with other plugins or themes. Maybe it’s a hosting-related problem and you just need to change your hosting provider.
But in any case, I can’t fix something which can’t be reproduced outside your host.
The problem is fixed already and there is a special support forum to report problems: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/cybersyn/
This place is not intended for bug reports.
Ok, please use the contact form here: https://www.cyberseo.net/#contact
Yes of course. Like this:
<a href="https://www.site1.com/link">Link #1</a>, <a href="https://www.site2.com/link">Link #2</a>, <a href="https://www.site3.com/link">Link #3</a>
Perhaps a nonfiction with come other plugin or something like that. Can you please give me a step by step instruction on how to reproduce it on a fresh WordPress install with a standard theme and CyberSEO Lite only (no other 3rd-ptary plugins enabled)?
Looks like the problem has gone.
Since the CyberSEO Lite code has not been changed, sims there is something with the feed. E.g. the image sources were removed or something like that. If it worked and suddenly stopped then it’s definitely not a bug in the plugin. I can fix my own code if ts broken, but everything else is out of my control…
This happens when the Full-Text RSS is unable to extract full articles. Also this may happen if your settings require a post thumbnail which can’t be created because the source image is missing.
Hope you’ll like the plugin. If you have any questions reading the Pro version, please post them to the official support forum use the contact form.
I need to see the original feed URL to tell you something specific.
No, it does not direct to the external website. Perhaps you are talking about some different plugin, but surely not about CyberSEO Lite. Course if you didn’t enable the “Link to source” option, which is disabled by default.
