In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Archive PageThanks for the response!
As mentioned in the first post, that isn’t a WP username or password. It is just a view restriction to keep search engines and the general public from seeing the site. There’s no security issue with having it public, which is part of the reason why the password is so weak.
In regards to the calendar issue, I switched to the 2013 default theme and it started working so I assumed the theme (Genesis child theme) must have a conflict. However, when I switched back to Genesis, it was still working.
I’m not sure if switching the themes helped solved the problem or if there was a recent update that fixed it. Either way, it’s all good to go now!

In reply to: Events Mailergerwyn, thanks for the response. I’ve actually already talked to The Events Calendar plugin developers on their forum and they don’t have a solution right now. I figured posting it on the www.ads-software.com forum might stir up some creative solutions.

In reply to: [Genesis Custom Headers] Featured Images DissappearedI wouldn’t worry about the plugin conflict as it wasn’t affecting the Genesis plugins. The ShortPixel plugin was causing an issue with Gravity forms only. I included this only to explain why I was deactivating all the plugins to look for the conflict with Gravity Forms.

In reply to: [Genesis Custom Headers] Featured Images DissappearedThanks for the response! The plugin conflict was between Gravity Forms and ShortPixel.
After posting the issue here, I noticed that the all of other Genesis plugins (eg Simple Edits, Simple Social Share, etc) are not working either. What is weird is that all I did was deactivate and reactivate the plugins. I’ve even tried activating the Genesis Sample theme, deleting all of the Genesis plugins, and reinstalling them with no luck.
Any suggestions?

In reply to: Is there a way to add user categories? That’s about what I figured but I wanted to see if there was an easier way. Thanks!
Thanks for the quick response! Is there an example of how to do this? I tried the custom fields feature, but I couldn’t figure how to configure it for categories.
Worked for me, too. Thanks, JoseKost!

In reply to: [Display Featured Image for Genesis] Responsive Image BreakpointsI’ll second Darrel’s suggestion. It would great for the featured image to be responsive with the screen size.
Love the plugin. Great work!

In reply to: Fatal Error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-objectSo I tried that suggestion and some others as well to no avail.
For whatever reason, adding ‘www’ to the beginning of the URL under Settings/General solved the problem. I’m not quite sure why, but it worked.

In reply to: Fatal Error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-objectI took a look at that thread earlier but the site is hosted on Godaddy’s managed WordPress so I can’t switch the php version. All the rest of my sites on their hosting service are rendering fine.
I did get this error when trying the site in Firefox, which could be a clue:
The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] GoDaddy BlacklistCould the plugin parse the links into groups and scan only 1 group each day? So if a site has a 1,000 links, scan only 100 links each day aside from new ones.
Also, adding a time slot for the scans to run could help. Most websites have little traffic around the 1am-3am time frame so performance wouldn’t be affected nearly as much.
