In reply to: [WordPress MU Sitewide Tags Pages] Comment Counts Still Not Resolved?I see. Does anyone know of a way to do this? As a workaround, I’ll look into changing the text on the main blogs posts from “No Responses” to “Comments.” Clicking on “No Responses” does take the user to the comments screen where they can make a comment if there aren’t any yet, and will show the existing comments if there are any.

In reply to: External Links in the Navigation Bar?Gee, thanks Shane! I just did not know what term to search plugins with. I was using navigation and navbar instead of page or page-link.
I have installed the page-links-to plugin, and it works perfectly!
Thanks again!

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Installation AdviceThanks, I’ll check it out. I may also try to not use the cloaking for the redirection – that is an option that I selected.

In reply to: Links do not workHi Moshu
I’m wondering what the other members who you said were trying the same webhop type of redirection ended up doing?
If a member wants to run WordPress on their own web server, which has a direct address like desautel.net, and we cannot use a redirection to allow the address of the blog to be something like boomer-blog.com, then does the blog address have to be something like https://www.desautel.net/Boomer-Blog/?
Thanks

In reply to: Links do not workOh, I believe you. I’m just wondering if there is a way to let two domain names (desautel.net & boomer-blog.com) share the same dynamic IP address, and yet have the router, Linux machine, or Apache server differentiate between them as requests come in, routing the requests to the appropriate directories?
Maybe using different ports? Or, if I make boomer-blog.com a virtual host in Apache, would that help?
Or are we saying that there is no way to make WordPress work as its own domain unless there is an entire web server dedicated to it?

In reply to: Links do not workDoes this mean that I should make the main address for boomer-blog the following:
https://www.desautel.net/Boomer-Blog/
??
That sort of defeats the purpose of owning the domain name boomer-blog.com, doesn’t it?
