Go to google adsnese account > My ads > Custem channels > New custem channel
creat channels with different names and copy the ID into your Adsense instert page under each of ad unit setting in your wordpress blog

try reinstalling the plugin (delete and then upload latest version of plugin) and make sure you are not using ad block plus (Plugin in firefox / Chrome) if still not show check if your adsense account is active
