But when I redirect the user to the login page, he has to go the whole way to back to see the page with the restricted content

I can’t use a redirect to a specific page (https://hamd.at/login/?redirect_to=https://hamd.at/fantin-uno/) because I have more pages with restricted content.

Isn′t it possible to have a login form on the page where the restricted content is? (Same as the “Restricted Access Message”)

I did, but it didn’t change anything.
You can see the restricted content after a manual page reload.

And the second issue. How can I place the login form on the page that should be reloaded after the login?
The page https://hamd.at/fantin-uno/ is restricted to users.
If the user is not logged in there is an info-text and a button that directs the user to the login page. https://www.hamd.at/login
When the user goes to this page to login, the page will be reloaded.
But that is not what we need. we need the login form on https://hamd.at/fantin-uno/. because we want that the user will be redirected to this page after login.

yes we updated to wp 5. we also installed the classic editor. wp-bakery works fine. only the options to show the events in post-grid doesnt work as we need. we do not use custom code.

I can sort by date desc and asc, but cannot only show upcoming events sorting.

i have no idea how to setup so that the grid only shows the next upcoming 4 events.

thanks for your help, but i use wordpress 3.

i configured the navigation with the menu-tool. the template i use does not natively support menus. i include the menu with the menu-widget in the primary widget area in the sidebar wich i adapted manually to get the primary and secondary widget area.

now the menu-items and the sub-menu-items are shown in one list. what i want is to only show the sub-menu-item when the parent-menu-item was clicked.
