In reply to: [Import Export Suite for CSV and XML Datafeed] Tons of blank postsThanks for replying. Would you be more specific?
When you say re-arrange, what do you mean?
Also, if I have fields in the .csv that don’t have WP post fields do I just create custom fields that don’t show or leave those unmapped as -select- ?
As far as blank values, I am using a test .csv. I only have two rows the header 1 and one line of data in row 2. All the other cells are blank. Are you saying I have to someone make the final file only 2 rows. Not sure how to do that in Excel.
Thanks.
I believe it is when I unchecked that option. The next time I tried to login the login page would just refresh with blank boxes. Had to restore an old version of .htaccess for it to work.
Awesome.
1. Is that something we can uncomment until then like if you gave us the line #s?
2. I manually deleted about 80,000 404 events from the database about 950 at a time because anymore and the browser or database would just choke. It took me about 2 hours. In the future would it be best to delete the whole plugin or is there a better way to delete those entries all at one time?
Thanks. Still love the plugin.
wpsolutions,
is there a fix if DB Cleanup – checking if a cleanup needs to be done now is not showing in the log file?
Thanks.
wpsolutions, thanks for chiming in.
I did check wp-security-log-cron-job.txt and that line does NOT appear.
re-verified I am running plugin version 3.8.5.
thanks for letting me know if there is a fix for that.
I did uncheck Enable IP lockout for 404 events. Would be nice we we could still block but also disable the log.
Found another thread. Think the issues is 2905 pages of 404 errors? Looks like Bing and Google bots hitting pages from the old Hubspot site.
Can I just delete those events from the database manually?
How can I keep the plugin from logging those errors?
Thanks!

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] DB Backup Not Workingwe are having the same issue, TONS of 404s coming from Bing and other bots to old pages and the db backup just going blank.
so i can manually delete the events in the db with no issue?
is there anything i can do to prevent the 404s from piling up again besides a robots.txt file? i’m already using plugins and a new sitemap.xml to report the new structure.
thanks!
no idea. how can i find out?
also why was this never a problem with any other site i’ve done?
again, if i whitelist the client ip it is fine.
thanks
