Hi, on my desktop PC Chrome didn’t work, Firefox (freshly installed) did. After disabling some hosts filters, works correctly also in Chrome desktop.

Unfortunately, both buttons do not work in mobile browsers: tried Chrome on Android, Chrome and Safari on iOS.

I updated Sublanguage to the latest dev version and added your code to functions.php, but it doesn’t seem to work. I did some testing using both Chrome + Quick Language Switcher and Firefox (set to french), but I’m still getting pages in italian language.

About your side note, thanks for your opinion…much appreciated. I’ll actually do a little test-pilot with my client, to choose the better behaviour (auto-detection or good old menu…maybe both?).

Adminimize, Code Snippets, Contact Form 7, Duplicate Post, EWWW Image Optimizer, Italy Cookie Choices, Year/Copyright Shortcodes, Loft Maintenance, Members, Regenerate Thumbnails, Sassy Social Share, WP External Links, WP-Optimize, Yoast SEO + Hide SEO Bloat, plus some components for my theme (post-type and page builder).

The only plugin that could interfere with permalinks is Yoast SEO…tried to disable it and update all permalinks/Sublanguage settings, but nothing changes. I even tried to switch WP_DEBUG to false (currently have it true) when testing those changes.

Still getting 404 on English (secondary) homepage, when entering main domain into English language browser. ??

Hi Maxime, and thank you for the plugin…I have a similar issue to lino4000’s.

WP 4.4.2 (Italian version), latest version of your plugin. I installed and configured everything, enabled second language (English) and translated some pages and options. “Original” and “Default” language are set on Italian, “Show slug for main language” is OFF, “Auto-detect language” and “Current language first” are ON. Permalinks are set on /%postname% only.

• If I visit the website from Italian browser, every page works perfectly (including homepage on domain.com).
• If I do the same from English browser, homepage doesn’t work: gives me a 404 when entering domain.com, but shows correctly when I manually give domain.com/en/, or click on menu references (every other page works perfectly).

Already tried to update plugin settings and then permalinks…and viceversa.

Note: if I enable “Show slug for main language”, everything works ok…but that’s far from my ideal scenario (final domain will be “.it”, so “domain.it/it/” would be an eyesore).

Is it a bug or there’s something strange on my installation?

Just upgraded to Blaskan 2.6.4 and WP 3.5.1 (coming from perfectly-working Blaskan 2.5 and WP 3.4.1). Same behaviour as OP, but only on certain conditions:

Machine 1 (Win8 x64, Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch):

Chrome (latest beta) 26.0.1410.28 beta-m / Chrome Canary / Firefox 19.0.2
left click doesn’t work

Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16484
left click works

tapping works

All browsers tried with no extensions / anonymous session. This bug happens also on https://demo.blaskan.net/

EDIT: seems that issue is related to “touch events” support. If I disable them on both Chrome (from chrome://flags) and Firefox (from about:config > dom.w3c_touch_events.enabled = 0), left click works just as it should.

Blaskan 2.5 worked flawlessly with these options set on “Auto” (default for both Chrome Beta and Firefox)!

Dunno if could be related my Wacom Bamboo tablet, left click = pen click = one finger tapping either do not work.

Ok, I did a little bit of investigation…and figured out that “Simple Twitter Connect” is the bad guy: disabling its main module, I can correctly reautenthicate your widget with my Twitter credentials. Probably Twitter API changes broke completely that plugin.

Well, seems that disabling all plugins actually did the job!

Now I’ll investigate and report what plugin triggers the bug ??
