En primer lugar gracias por tu interés en colaborar con las traducciones de WP Argentina. Estuve chequeando tus cadenas sugeridas y aprobé algunas, entre ellas la de “comprar”. Aunque tendrías que revisar las otras, ya que usaste traducciones iguales a espa?ol de Espa?a, por ejemplo, disable lo traducimos como deshabilitar, no desactivar. Te recomiendo migrar el glosario para mejorar la calidad de las traducciones y así poder aprobarlas todas.

LOL!! You’re right, sorry. The translatable plugin is Updraft Plus itself.
Anyway, even though your readme is translated, you could add Text Domain and Domain Path to be able to translate also the Plugin Description.

The same happened to me. I had to rollback to version 1.9.0.

I see the following errors on Developer Console:

The same happens to me. How can I add something like an asterisk to allow all cities in the region/state?

I added 3 States (they’re regions, in fact) using your snippet:

And I added a couple of shipping methods for each new ‘State’.

The problem is when selecting the shipping address on the checkout, it doesn’t show the corresponding shipping methods available. E.g. ‘Maldonado’ It only shows the correct shipping methods if I enter ‘UY3’

I tried changing UY3 for Maldonado too, like this:

  $states['UY'] = array(
    'La Barra' => 'La Barra', 
    'Punta del Este' => 'Punta del Este',
    'Maldonado' => 'Maldonado'

but it doesn’t work either. I assume that the 2 characters country code is required.

How can I make it work so the customers could insert the State name for the shipping methods to show?

Even though you’re right -I misread part of the documentation- you should have explained it here again in other way because it’s not the first question about the same topic.
It looks like you’re trying to show how smart you are (which I don’t doubt) compared to us, users.

Hey Andriub,

The generation of the translation files is automated. We use a web application that generates the corresponding locale files when a change occurs. This is checked everyday at a given hour. But I cannot generate a new file manually.
What I can do is to make some modifications to force the regeneration of the language files and wait for the error to solve.

If they were to change this they should warn users in order to avoid this kind of problems. Not a good practice of the developer team.

It’s really important users fully understand what the settings they choose, the processes the plugin is running and the information it shows. You should take in account that also the data presented isn’t always easy to be understood by a non programmer.
