It shouldn’t be that way.

I presume you are creating a map, and then if you refresh the page, the map is gone?
Am I right? In that case, please have a look in the browser’s console. It must show an error. The ajax call is not complete.
There is something that is blocking the request. It might be another plugin, some security plugins are blocking ajax calls. Recently I found out a theme was blocking the content of a map from being rendered.
In this case I would say you have another plugin, or even a server setting to block ajax calls.

I had no problem running it on the Litespeed server.
Could you try to get a snapshot of the browser console error messages.
Also worth trying to activate error reporting in wordpress for a few minutes and give it a try, and let me know what you get. Only this way I can help you, otherwise my hands are tied, and only do some presumption.

Hi,

The main reason will be not having a valid API Key. Make sure you have Bing API key set in the Setting page.
The plugin uses microsoft bing address suggestion, some addresses cannot be found, from what I found.
You can use https://www.gps-coordinates.net/ to get the latitude and longitude for an address.
The address suggestion never worked ?
Could you have a look inside the browser console for any errors ?
It might conflict with other js.

But I presume it will be a bit different, each pin will have an icon in the tooltip, and when you click on it, the user will receive directions from their position to that pin.

There is indeed a single map, but you can have multiple pins, custom pins, pins from library, title, description, custom coordinates, image will be put in the future.

What did you expect to get from the map exactly ?

As I said this version will not be improved to have multiple maps.
