For me, anyway, deactivating WP-O-Matic did the trick. Considering how well it works (not at all) and how slim my chances are for resolving any issues with it (by all accounts, verrrry slim), no big loss.

Wow! How can this be?! If anyone is out there, reading this and has the idea of writing a plug-in that does exactly this, I am definitely in the market.

Were you able to access the “.php” files? Or do you need to?

For what it’s worth, I experimented a little and discovered that if I delete thecomments.php file from the server the alignment rights itself (and, surprisingly, the comment that was there stays there, as well … how does that work? … fascinating!)

So, the problem appears to be in my comments.php file. Now, I just have to weed through the nearly undecipherable (for me, anyway) code to, maybe, find the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmmmm, well, I took care of most of the errors that the validator found. There are only two left and they have to do with list items in the footer. Still, the footer on posts with only one comment continues to be terribly positioned.

Do you think that the remaining issues with validation have anything to do with the footer position?

netqwik, I’m not sure what you are referring to. Can you be more specific.

Hey, Alex, I would like to “downgrade” to a previous version of Twitter Tools until the daily digest problems are worked out as, before I upgraded and then downloaded the “fix” to said upgrade, everything was working fine for me. Even the daily digest was lacking any sort of problems.

Here’s my question, though: what version should I “downgrade” to? The version I was last using lacked any sort of controls as to when Twitter Tools should post the daily digest. In fact, that was the first thing I noticed about the new version; that it appeared I was able to control when they were posted. Any ideas?

wyldwolf, can you give me an idea as to where this would go/what it would replace in 2.6’s comments.php file?
