Sorry joaolra, im not sure i know what you mean by that. i just used the basic settings throughout

If i turn the meta keywords tag on, what will that do and do i need to do anything else once ive turned that on?

well ive just changed the text and shortend it from the word “number” to the symbol # and the annual income to income P/A so thats aligned it better now.

Just noticed something else that disabling that plug in has done, if you look at the capture form at the top its now out of line. dont suppose you have any ideas for that problem do you?

The theme main style sheet displays this as link formatting:

but the additional style sheet formatting shows the following:

is the only code for links i can find in the styles.css there does not seem to be any formatting for :visited links. when you said that about visited links i thought it may be an issue so cleared my cache and tried again and they still are invisible.

when i put my site live after a while i get a penalty from Google for hidden links and my site is removed for a period of time. however i will take it out of maintanence mode and let you have a look, the problem i have is in the widget side bar specifically at this time the one titled PSP Scheme Reviews (4.5 / 5) and also in the Recent Blog Posts widget.

@esmi don’t worry ill post all my requests for assistance here, I think Oizuled was just being friendly and didn’t mean to upset the balance of things.

You Oizuled, are a very knowledgeable person and have helped me no end these last couple days, thank you so much for your help. I may be in touch again soon as I will need to move my site from the folder its on on my server to the main directory so will need some assistance no doubt with that but thank you again for your help.

it would appear that (without changing anything) the sharing buttons have returned on each of the pages YAY haha. and even though there is NO sharing buttons for each of the exerpts on my news page, when clicked to view the full article, there are sharing buttons on there which is absolutely what I needed.

I only have one issue now…… ive looked and in dashboard its not ticked to show or allow comments, but on the full page articles from the news page, there is the opportunity for people to comment on the posts and this is not what I am after. How can I stop the comments being applied to these pages? Thanks

I havent got any plugins specifically for sharing buttons, from what I can see from using WP, there seems to be standard buttons appear on each page anyway for sharing between FB, Twitter etc, however if you go to my front page and look at the bottom of the page above the footer it shows the word “like this” with a button with a star and it says “loading”, yesterday on every page there was a full bar of sharing options which have now dissapeard.

id obviously like to get them back but cant find the setting for it in dashboard PLUS id really like a similer bar beneath every post I make on my news page so people can share individual stories rather than the whole page.

hope you can help with this and again thank you so far for the assistance you have given me with my problems, ive never used WP before this site but I am deffo a convert now I just need to work out some of these niggly little issues.
