Yes, the domain in the external link will cause it not to show in the reports so if you can remove that then clicks from that change onwards will show.

Thank you, that’s an interesting bug that we haven’t seen before so will be fixed in a future version.

The clicks should start to show almost right away – remember only clicks to external sites will show up in the report. Under settings, do you have Local Tracking selected?

The plugin should show clicks on banner ads, just the same as any other link on your site. Let us know how you get on!

Track The Click will show how many times your links to those PDFs are clicked – along with all the other links on your site!

Interesting to hear how you might use it – we’ll look to add in filtering of click targets in future so that you can limit the output to just those PDF links you want to see.
