Hi John
You need to edit the HTML in the “WP Portfolio – Layout Settings” part of the site to remove “_blank” from the links in the HTML template.

Yes, this is likely because you do not have PHP 5.3 on your server. Chat to your hosting company, as they should have upgraded you by now. It’s a fairly simple fix.

In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] Data from STW was empty.Again, @jvandemerwe – comparing this to the existing code, I find it odd that forging the user agent solves the issue.
I see that you’ve also removed:
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, 1);Happy to make this a fix, but I want to make sure it’s a fix and not just a coincidence.

Sounds like a shared IP. Have STW offered any advice?
Dan
Hi jvandemerwe
Thanks for the update. Not sure why you’ve added a Firefox UserAgent… Usually with 0 data coming back from STW, it indicates a problem with the STW account, such as overusage.

In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] Portfolio shown as PostSorry, I really don’t understand what you mean! ?? Could you give me more examples please?
Thanks
DanHi Hue
Your 1st Question: You’d need to ensure you only have the right number of items in the portfolio, the rest is done with CSS:
https://www.wpdoctors.co.uk/wp-portfolio-an-easy-css-grid-layout/With your 2nd question, I don’t understand you. However, look into CSS :first-child to do this.
Please do post your solution once you have it!

In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] Error Showing Thumbnail Error@ HWM – this issue is covered in the FAQ.
This error usually occurs due to problems with your STW account, usually with lots of errors or security issues. If you log into your STW account, you should be able to check the error log there to find out why.

In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] Error CodeThanks William, glad it helped!

Hello
That’s a really odd issue. Try a different theme (briefly) to see if that works. Then that will determine if it’s something to do with the theme, or a bug with the plugin.
Kind Regards

In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] Error CodeThat’s due to a security issue with your host. Try changing to using the fopen method of fetching thumbnails (it’s a setting in the plugin).
If that doesn’t work, chat to your host to see if they’ll allow CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION to work in your account.
If that doesn’t work, let me know.
Kind Regards

In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] DB error after deleting pluginHi Martin
Ah, I can see what’s happened. No, you didn’t make a mistake. Your host is just a little unusual.
If you can use FTP or a control panel, delete the /wp-content/plugins/wp-portfolio folder.
Kind Regards
