I tried the plugin and did not really know how to work it and it made my homepage look a little bit weird.

I REALLY wish this plugin could show past events in the same area. Any ideas? On the homepage on the right hand side i have created a text widget to say ‘pAST events’ but i feel this is only a band aid fix:
