Is this a premium option? How do I set everything up so if someone purchases and checks out they will see checkboxes and can choose to sign up for our newsletter?
I have the same question. At this moment I have a subscribe widget in the left column but nobody subscribes in this way.
Previously I used another plugin which showed a “subscribe to our newsletter” checkbox just above the “pay now” button. This was way more efficient, more people subscribe this way! Can you add this functionality?#1115 – Unknown character set: ‘utf8mb4’
“Similar to this” -> but then we need to know which columns to create, and how to create the table. ??
Does this create a blocking issue somewhere??

I have confirmed that the problem is related to WPML / Woocommerce combination. I have deactivated all plugins and reactived them one by one. The problem appears when WPML is activated.
Please fix this a.s.a.p. because I cannot update any products in this way.Excellent!
Apparently the culprit is MAILPOET3 ! If I activate this plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailpoet/) then I cannot add variable products. I need to deactivate it to create variable products….
I am already using Storefront. As far as I know I don’t have any caching plugins.
I will check the compatibility with other plugins.I do have variable products in the shop, but I can only add new variable products by duplicating an existing variable product. I cannot add new variable products, and neither can I change a simple product into a variable product (same scenario there)
