I deleted, as confirmed by WP forum being the cause:
“An image generates a post of type “attachment” with the image name as the slug. ”

Now I got venice diving for them engl home page.

the problem is that when I asked support from the theme forum, they told me to ask you and now viceversa so no one could solve my issues.
I do not use any other page builder. just the theme.

Can I uninstall yoast plug and the re-install it or will I loose all the meta data?

I still believe that this mistake happened because one day I deleted and redone the home pages several times because of polylang issues. Something must have stayed hidden “underground” and now it’s impossible to delete it.

Moreover
if I go to the slug

in order to check where is actually the page/post with the original slug I found an image. So the image it might be another way to solve the issue?

another question, to give you temp access: the only way it’s with the premium support?

Both home pages in Italian and English with different keywords are still telling me that those 2 words are both used twice.

We understand it creates slug “venice-diving-2” not “venice-diving”. Could you please check Trash in your admin that a similar page “venice-diving” already exists? If so delete it and recreate a new page.

that page shown it’s not the page where the SAME word has been used, it is the ONLY page where it has been used.
Also, if you see the slug, I cannot use “venice diving”
